To reach Granite Falls, drive about 9 miles down a bumpy road to the parking lot. From there, take one of the well-worn trails down to the base of the falls.

Granite Falls is a popular spot for fishermen. During our visit, we saw several men catching fish flowing from the falls
If you cross the stream, be cautious of slippery rocks; you’ll find a couple of natural hot springs.
Look for the shallow pools of water contained within rock circles. A small thermal waterfall flows into the river in this section.
The pools were not hot during our visit, which was disappointing, but some work did need to be done with the pools.
After taking some selfies, we jumped in the truck and headed back to the main trailhead we passed before the campground to do the longer hike to the falls.
Once you reach the trailhead, follow the signs to the natural hot springs.
The trail is easy and takes you through meadows, wetlands, forests, and along the creek until you reach Granite Falls. The views are amazing as you are surrounded by the mountains throughout the trek.
We clocked this out-and-back trail at 2.70 miles with only 245 feet of elevation gain.
The hike was beautiful, and we encountered geese, deer, and saw an American Bald Eagle fly overhead, which added to this incredible journey.
If you happen to be visiting the area, be sure to take some time to visit Granite Falls. You won’t be disappointed.
If you want to truly experience some hot springs, the Granite Hot Springs Pool is located at the end of Granite Creek Road after the falls. It costs $12, and you can learn more on their official website.
