Gorgeous Gibbon Falls In Yellowstone National Park
Gibbon Falls is a picturesque waterfall located in Yellowstone National Park.
The waterfall is situated along the Gibbon River in the western part of the park, between the Norris Geyser Basin and the Madison Junction.
Gibbon Falls is a popular stop for visitors exploring the park due to its easy accessibility and beautiful surroundings.
The waterfall drops approximately 84 feet over a remnant of the Yellowstone caldera rim. It is surrounded by lush greenery and rocky terrain.
It’s easily viewable from a designated parking area along the Grand Loop Road, one of the main roads that winds through Yellowstone National Park.
They do have designated RV spots, but I thought the parking lot was a bit small considering how popular it is. We had to wait a couple of minutes to get a spot.
Multiple informational kiosks are located at the falls.
Gibbon Falls is one of the many natural wonders you can experience while visiting this iconic park and should not be skipped.
I forgot to get a selfie which I completely regret.
