Terrace Spring In Yellowstone National Park
Terrace Spring is a 0.2-mile lollipop loop boardwalk trail to a small thermal area located inside Yellowstone National Park.
It is one of the first attractions you come to when you enter from the west entrance of the park.
The parking lot is small but can accommodate several cars and has a couple of dedicated RV spots. An information kiosk is located at the trailhead.
A short boardwalk takes you to a small grouping of hot springs
Terrace Spring may be small but it is a good starter thermal area for the many you are going to see while visiting the park.
It’s an easy hike for the whole family.
Safety reminder:
It is illegal to touch or throw objects into hot springs or other hydrothermal features at the park. Always stay on the walkway in thermal areas.
