The Old Tombstone Western Theme Park is located right in the heart of the town of Tombstone, Arizona.
This wild west–themed amusement park has gunfight shows, trolley tours, a shooting gallery, cantina and most importantly a mini golf course.
You don’t have to pay to go into this small attraction and explore. There are cool photo-ops located inside that won’t cost you a penny.
You only need to pay for the activities you wish to participate in. The shooting gallery is fun and the gunfighters museum is pretty cool.
The Trolley/Gunfight Combo is worth the money and is a fun time. Bonus, a free round at Mad-Miners Mini Golf is included if you purchase a combo ticket.
If you don’t purchase the combo though, the 17-hole miniature golf course will only cost you $3 to play. Go to Pancho’s Cantina inside the park to pick up your equipment for the course.
Each hole has a plaque detailing a story from Tombstone’s rich history.
While having some fun on the greens you’ll also get a little education on the town. Learn about some of the colorful characters who called Tombstone home including the Earps, the Clantons and Doc Holiday.
The course isn’t that large or challenging, but we still had fun. It was well maintained and completely embodied the old western theme.
I really loved the old stagecoach and windmill on the course that provided some great photo ops. On the last hole you putt your ball into a mine shaft and it’s never seen again!
Tombstone is a fun little tourist town that I think is worth a visit if you like the old west.
If you like mini golf, like we do, and are making the trek to Tombstone I would hit up the Mad-Miners Mini Golf course for sure. It’s cheap, won’t take long and is always a fun time.
