Jamey Made A New Friend

So we were heading back to camp after visiting Bear Country USA when I saw a sign for a rock shop so we stopped. I never pass up a rock shop!

Indigo Iris Rocks & Stones is a really, really nice shop and if you’re into rocks and fossils I highly suggest stopping in. I kept my purchases to under twenty bucks so Jamey was happy.

As a bonus this little shop as a larger than life statue out front.

The statue appears to be a prospector panning for gold. I couldn’t find any info online about him and the owner was super busy inside so I didn’t have the opportunity to ask any questions. He reminds me of the Muffler Men statues scattered across the country.

Anyways, just thought I share this little roadside attraction in case you wanted to stop and snap a pic. He is out in front of the store so he is free to see 24/7. If interested in checking out the store their hours are Thursday-Monday 10:30 AM-5:30 PM.
