While exploring the small town of Monticello, Utah we stumbled across Pioneer Park not from from the visitor center.
The park stands as a tribute to the early settlers who called Monticello home. A chapel, blacksmith shop and some original log cabins can be found in this tiny park. Informational plaques are located throughout describing the buildings and providing more information on the time period.
I really couldn’t find any other information on this place. I’m assuming you can explore the park whenever you want, because it’s not like it’s locked up with a gate or anything. The park needed some general maintenance, but it’s a another neat little free attraction in this small town.
