Wilson Arch is a large Entrada Sandstone arch located right off Highway 191 in southeastern Utah. It’s a free, well known and easily accessible attraction for visitors in the area. The arch has a span of 91 feet and height of 46 feet. It was named after Joe Wilson who was a local pioneer with a cabin nearby.
A short 1/2 mile hike will get you to the base of the arch. Be extremely careful on the last 50 feet or so as a scramble up a steep slope is required. If you take the time though you will be rewarded with some great views. If a hike is not in your plans you can still get great pics of the arch right from your car.
