Fossil Exhibit Trail In Badlands National Park
The Fossil Exhibit Trail is by far one of the easiest and most educational trails in Badlands National Park. It is located on the Badlands Loop Scenic Road approximately 5 miles west of the Ben Reifel Visitor Center.
This fully accessible trail is a quarter mile loop on a boardwalk.
Interpretive signs feature replicas of animals that once roamed the area as well information on the species featured. The exhibits are tactile so you are encouraged to touch the displays. Braille is also incorporated into the signs.
It’s a quick stop full of information on the area and iconic Badlands formations can be seen from the entire trail.
