This giant ear of corn was one of the first big objects created by Jim Bolin for the town of Casey, Illinois.
He carved this wood piece himself with a chainsaw. It is located outside the The Farmer’s Wife Gift Shoppe and can be viewed 24/7 for free. Don’t miss the impressive farm themed mural on the side of the building as well.
Also inside The Farmer’s Wife Gift Shoppe is the home to the former World’s Largest Knitting Needles and Crochet Hook. Though they may no longer hold the record they are still impressive to view. The shop was closed while we were visiting so no pics, but we got to see glimpses of them from the window.
Click on the shops link above for their hours of operation.
