You Can’t Ride In My Little Red Wagon
Ok, so much to Jamey’s disappointment we didn’t get a little red wagon because it only came in black.
I have been wanting a wagon for camp chores for a while and finally talked the hubby into buying one. My main reason for wanting one was for gathering firewood. I love campfires and have a couple a week for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and maybe I’m just a tad bit of a pyromaniac! I’m just mesmerized by those dancing flames.
It’s such a chore to gather wood and carry it back to your fire pit. You have to make so many trips to get enough wood for one good fire for the night. If your lucky you don’t have to travel far from your campsite to gather wood, but at popular campgrounds it is usually picked clean and you have to do some exploring to get some. Now whenever we take the dog for walks I just pull the wagon behind me and load it up. It can hold so much wood and I barely have to make any trips to get what I need for a good fire.
It also comes in handy for other things as well. You can load it up to get water, dump your trash or carry in your groceries from your latest shopping spree.
What we got was the Ozark Trail Folding Multipurpose Wagon. We picked it up at Walmart.
So does anyone else take a wagon on camping trips with them?
What do you use it for?
