At the Tammany Trace trailhead park, on the southwest corner of N. New Hampshire and E. Lockwood Streets in Covington, Louisiana stands the world’s largest Ronald Reagan statue.
The 9 foot bronze statue stands on a 6 foot base. The statue was commissioned and donated by local oil tycoon Patrick F. Taylor on June 27, 2008. He was the owner of Taylor Energy Company and a friend of the late president.
