My Green Thumb Was Better in My Sticks and Bricks
This is our little camper plant. When I lived in a sticks and bricks house I had quite the little garden. It was spectacular and I babied it all summer long. My neighbors envied me. This little succulent in the camper though…she be testing my limits.
I’m pretty sure she has fallen during every travel day. I mean like she has completely fallen out of the pot a couple times. Roots all flailing in the wind when I find her and begging for help. She got frost bite once and we thought for sure she was a goner. All the little tentacle things that grow from the top turned brown and fell off. Multiple light brown spots appeared on her body.
We didn’t get rid of her though and she came back. Her little tentacle things started coming back and she was completely green again. I worried I might have lost my green thumb before that. We named her Reanimator since she came back.
Will she fade again?
Will she come back?
How many lives does she really have?
Who else is trying to keep plants alive in their pop-up or camper?
Any tips for how I can keep her safe during travel days. Her vase is a very heavy ceramic. I want my little Reanimator with us for a very long time. I want more plants, because I miss having them around. The hubby says we have to wait. I don’t think he has faith in me keeping this one alive!
