A New View For My Bed

My five fav things in the world:

1. Scooby-doo
2. Anything horror related
3. Owls
4. Fungi and Mushrooms (not the recreational kind)
5. Chocolate

 

So we have a tapestry hanging from the side of our awning. It’s a giant mandala and I love it.  It gives us some privacy from spying neighbors (not that we hardly ever have any) and blocks some of the wind and rain. I also just like that it adds a bit of character to our pup.

 

I wanted to get one for other side as well, but I wanted something a little different though. Something a little bit more me and the things I love. So I spent forever on Amazon scouring through all the available tapestries. Saw this one and was like, “Two of my favorite things in one tapestry. It’s meant to be!”.

 

So I ordered it, patiently waiting to pick it up. It finally arrived and I tore through the box and it was not what I expected. I incorrectly read the dimensions and it was too small to fit the awning. It also only had the print on one side. That wasn’t gonna work for me.

 

Man was it gorgeous though and I loved it. So I found an awesome new home for it above my bed. It’s perfect there. I no longer have to stare up at that white dingy canvas. Now I get to stare at my fat little Emiril (yes I named the owl) sitting under his marvelous mushroom.

 

It also stops all those little condensation droplets from hitting my head in the morning. (If you’re a pop up owner you know exactly what I’m talking about). The hubby is jelly now though. He’s scrolling through tapestries on Amazon as I type this lol.

 

Side Note:  Yes, Dexter has glowing eyes. We have come to accept the fact that we officially rescued a hellhound.
